IOM Chamber of Commerce hosts round-table about Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm

A key area of interest for Chamber members was discussion about how Ørsted manages supply chains, so the Mooir Vannin team referred to real-life UK case studies to give an illustration of how this could work in practice in an Isle of Man context.
The team also gave an update about the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm planning application, including the Isle of Man Government’s public consultation process which closed on November 18.
The event was well attended and well-received. The Mooir Vannin team thanked Chamber and the attendees for the opportunity to discuss the project. Looking ahead to 2026, the Mooir Vannin team have already been invited to speak at another Isle of Man business group event. This will form part of ongoing business and community engagement programme.
