We have been delivering employment, skills and educational outreach for many years in the key regions where we operate in the UK.
Ørsted and the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm project will bring new opportunities for employment on the island both directly and indirectly.
We have already committed to an operations and maintenance (O&M) base on the Isle of Man which will create long-term well-paid opportunities for local employment. These roles are expected to comprise skilled technical, operational, and maintenance support functions associated with the offshore infrastructure and landfall assets granted consent.
Additional economic benefits are anticipated through expenditure with Isle of Man suppliers, opportunities for local businesses to participate in project supply chains, skills development and training opportunities.
